Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council have announced plans for a new greenway linking Cornelscourt to Cherrywood.

The Cabinteely Greenway involves the creation of a safe, active travel community greenway. This will form part of the DLR Cycle Network, to connect Cornelscourt and Cherrywood. Its goals include:

● improving connectivity,

● safe route to schools,

● reducing car reliance within a 5km area,

● supporting climate action targets,

● enhancing accessibility to public transport, and

● improving sustainability and access to nature.
